Nursery children were very excited to show staff the fantastic costumes they were wearing, however they weren’t all happy to see that Mrs Crew had disappeared and a Spinosaurus was greeting them at the door!!  Once they got over the shock they were all keen to sit on the carpet to listen to the Dinosaur Roar story read by a dinosaur, which ended with a dinosaur stomp dance.

Each child was able to talk about the character they had come as and the name of the story. As we have a single bed in the book corner, many children were keen to listen to stories read by the characters. Mummy bear read Goldilocks and the three bears at least 5 times to different children.
