We provide children with a healthy start to the school day, by encouraging them to attend breakfast club. Research has found that this goes a long way to help and improve the health and concentration of children, and so, raise the standards of learning and attainment. A commitment was made by Welsh Government to provide a free breakfast for all children of primary school age.
We will be restarting Breakfast Club as of Wednesday 16th September. However, there will be some key changes on how it will operate:
Pupils arriving for Breakfast club will enter school at The Busy Bees entrance.
Pupils arrive 10 minutes before their allocated school start time, i.e if your child’s start time is 8.40am, they should arrive for breakfast at 8.30am. If their start time is 9.00am, then they should arrive for breakfast at 8.50am etc.
Pupils will leave Breakfast Club from the hall after their allocated time and go straight to their classes.
Please ensure your child arrives on time as we will not be able to accept latecomers.
Please see attached Risk Assessment for details on arrangements.
New Reception pupils requiring a place in Breakfast Club will need to register, so please fill in the form below if you would like your child to attend.
Applications will be open until Friday 18th September.
No registrations can be taken after this date until after half term, when they’ll open again. Please also register if you think you may need the provision in the future.
IF YOUR CHILD IS ALREADY REGISTERED, THERE IS NO NEED TO COMPLETE ANOTHER FORM.
