We provide children with a healthy start to the school day, by encouraging them to attend breakfast club. Research has found that this goes a long way to help and improve the health and concentration of children, and so, raise the standards of learning and attainment.
A commitment was made by Welsh Government to provide a free breakfast for all children of primary school age.
We currently have approximately 80 pupils attending. If you would like your child to attend our Breakfast Club, please print and complete the Breakfast Club Application Form and return it to the main office.
Pupils attending should enter the school through the Busy Bees entrance by 8:15 am, where they will be greeted by staff who will take them to the dining hall.
When children have finished eating, there are a range of creative activities for them to enjoy. Pupils will be taken to their classrooms after breakfast club, in time for the start of the school day.
The children will be supervised by Breakfast Club staff. Please tell your children that they will not be able to go back out onto the school yard after they have come into Breakfast Club, in the interests of safety.
If your child has any allergies, please ensure that this information is included on the application form. Due to limited places, children who don’t regularly attend will be taken off the list and their space will be offered to another child.
The school provides a breakfast club to ensure that all pupils have a healthy breakfast each morning. However, children who attend breakfast club but don’t require a breakfast (if they have already eaten at home) may be asked to give up their space for other pupils who do need breakfast.
